Anthology’s Yule Store 2023
Every year, Anthology Marketing Group hosts a holiday silent auction for the benefit of a local charity in Hawaii. 2021 was Pōpolo Project, and in 2022, it was Hawaii Literacy.
Each year, a designer volunteers to work on this special internal project, and December 2023, I had the opportunity to create a microsite for Hollys Fountain of Hope.

Rett syndrome is a rare, genetic, neuro-developmental disorder that affects the brain and causes a progressive loss of motor skills and language. Simple tasks like brushing your teeth, sending a text message or even lifting your hand to your mouth to have a sip of coffee can become challenging.
The concept behind this website is to showcase Holly’s fun-loving, care-free, unbridled happiness with watercolors and butterflies.
Butterflies represent transformation, joy, love and freedom and that is the emotions and feelings we wanted to invigorate from the microsite.

One of my favorite things about this microsite is the meter. I wanted to come up with something unique and original.
A caterpillar transforming into a Monarch butterfly was a perfect fit for the representation and references.
With the black and grey and transitioning into full color as people donated money gave the meter more life, brightness and engagement.
Anthology’s goal amount was $15,000.00 and with everyones hard work, we managed to exceed it by $5,238.00.
